Picture this: Jesus tells a story about a shepherd who left 99 sheep to track down one adventurous little sheep that decided to go on a solo expedition. It's a tale of love, care, and the undeniable worth of each woolly friend. The moral of the story? Nobody's just a face in the flock.
This parable reminds us that everyone is a VIP to God. Like the shepherd searching for his sheep, God seeks each of us. When overwhelmed with homeschooling, remember you're never alone; God is always with you, cheering you on. Homeschooling might feel isolating, but your progress is evident. Just as the shepherd celebrates finding his lost sheep, God celebrates your learning achievements. This story offers comfort when you feel forgotten.
Engage in activities that connect you with God during lessons, whether through science, literature, or reflection. These moments strengthen your bond with God on your educational journey.
Embrace each lesson as a chance to connect with God. Whether overcoming challenges or learning new things, your journey is unique. Like the shepherd who knows each sheep, God knows you and ensures you're never lost. Your path is purposeful, with your heart always in His sight.
What makes you feel closest to God during your lessons?
The Lost Sheep Adventure Challenge: Hide a small toy sheep (or any stuffed animal) somewhere in your house. Have a family member “be the shepherd” and go find it. While you play, remember: Jesus always comes looking for you too!
Today's Scripture: Read John 10:14
